AEROS OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

Aeros ’40B ‘Sky Dragon’ and Hangar.jpg

To ensure operational performance without interruption or delay, Aeros provides full integration and maintenance solutions for parts and labor as well as supply chain management fr helium, and hangar construction.

Maintenance services
Hangar/Shelter construction
Helium supply management
Environmental systems
Parts sourcing

AEROS constructs semi-permanent, re-locatable hangars that provide weather protection and support operations and parts storage for airships and large aerostat systems.

To address helium supply chain challenges during deployment to the most austere environments AEROS can provide mobile field hydrogen generation (FHG) for use by forward operators.

AEROS ENGINEERING DIVISION

Aeros' engineering has expertise in all aspects of the design in aerospace products. Our engineers work with dedication, technical creativity, and vision to make existing products better, safer, and more cost-effective. Aeros’ engineering division researches and creates cutting-edge technologies in mechanical & structural engineering, aerodynamics, electrical engineering, avionics, hydraulic systems, flight control systems, and system engineering.

Our engineers handle complex engineering feats that require multifaceted management over a project’s duration. Aeros oversees the entire development process from design, analysis, manufacturing and integration, to testing. Aeros has developed a proven program management system that is implemented on all Aeros products and programs to produce quality and on-time deliverability-- every time.

AEROS MANUFACTURING DIVISION

Aeros’ manufacturing division carries out all phases of aircraft construction and supports complex R&D programs. Our manufacturing facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines.

The Aeros' company quality control system works under the authority of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Production Certificate. We pride ourselves on safety, quality, craftsmanship, and dedication.

ENGINEERING OFFICES AND MANUFACTURING SITES

Montebello, CA

Aeros maintains an 80,000 square-foot engineering and manufacturing facility in Los Angeles, as well as an assembly flight test facility inside a historic 500,000 square-foot hangar in Tustin, California. Aeros’ growing workforce of about 100 employees is headquartered in Montebello and supports both facilities, currently producing the most technologically advanced FAA-certified airship on the market.

Tustin, CA - Historic WWII Blimp Hangar

Airship Hangar 2 is designated as a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark. A fully operational prototype of the Aeroscraft has been completed and is now housed in the hanger. After its successful buoyancy management demonstration in January, the proof-of-design technology demonstration vehicle measuring 260-ft long is being utilized for pre-flight testing, pilot optimization and training, and procedure development in preparation for its first out of hanger flight.

 Advanced Concepts

ADVANCED CONCEPTS DIVISION

Our Advanced Concepts Division is comprised of some of the best and brightest engineers and technical staff. We take a concept and bring it from conception to reality. While our competitors measure progress in terms of years and decades, we execute cutting-edge solutions in weeks and months. We strive to mix the novel with the practical to produce the best products that will meet our customers’ requirements.

Aeros’ Advanced Concepts Division provides a rapid prototype solution for our customers. With over 25 years of experience, Aeros has a proven track record in designing and manufacturing superior aviation products that exceed our customers’ needs. We have lead technologies in creating a new rigid variable buoyancy air vehicle called the Aeroscraft. In addition to creating, designing, and developing other numerous advanced concepts, our division provides testing under strict FAA guidelines to ensure safety and quality in each product or prototype produced.
